Bulls and Bears

Bulls and Bears is an ongoing sculptural series exploring power, tension, and opposing forces through simplified, geometric animal forms. Rooted in strength and weight, the works emphasise mass, balance, and containment rather than movement or narrative.

The bull and the bear function as archetypes — symbols of force, resistance, and presence. Reduced to essential geometry, each sculpture distils physical power into controlled form, allowing sharp planes and compressed volumes to convey impact and authority.

While developed earlier than some of. the new projects, The series continues to evolve, with new works added selectively over time. The language remains consistent: restrained, architectural, and focused on the relationship between structure and energy held within form.
