Contemporary Equestrian Bronzes

The horse has been at the heart of my practice longer than any other subject — and it remains the place where my sculptural language is most fully itself.

These works do not describe the horse. They distil it — reducing form to its essential geometry, finding the stillness within movement, the power within simplicity. The riders who appear in some works are not portraits but presences, figures as abstracted as the animals they inhabit.

This collection represents the most developed body of my work — bronzes that have been through many years of exploration and resolution, arriving at a form that feels inevitable.

Horses have shared a profound relationship with humanity for thousands of years. Their strength, grace, and sensitivity have shaped them not only as working animals, but as enduring symbols of freedom, movement, and spirit across cultures.

The bond between horse and rider is an ancient and intimate partnership, built on trust, balance, and mutual awareness. It is a quiet dialogue rather than a display of force.
