Frequently Asked Questions
What materials to choose?
Bronze resin - a contemporary sculptural material composed of bronze powder combined with high-grade resin achieving the appearance, weight, and tactile quality of solid bronze..
Resin patinated with Acrylic - sculptures are cast in resin and finished with hand-applied acrylic paint.
Foundry Bronze –Foundry bronze sculptures are produced using the traditional lost-wax casting process, a technique refined over centuries. Each work is cast in bronze at a professional foundry, preserving the integrity of the original sculpture while allowing for exceptional durability and depth of form.
Are resin sculptures durable ?
Yes. All works are made using professional-grade materials and finishes and are intended for long-term display when cared for appropriately.
Resine sculpture can stay outside all year around.
Care & Maintenance
How should I care for my sculpture?
Bronze sculptures may be gently dusted and, if desired, waxed occasionally. Resin and painted works should be dusted with a soft, dry cloth.
Will the surface change over time?
Bronze patinas may evolve subtly with time and environment. This is part of the material’s character. Resin and painted finishes are stable when kept in appropriate conditions.
About my Work
What inspires your sculptures?
My work is driven by an interest in presence, attitude, and restraint. I sculpt animals not to describe what they do, but to explore how they are — moments of stillness, awareness, and contained energy.
Do the sculptures represent specific stories or meanings?
The works are not narrative or illustrative. They are open-ended and intentionally restrained, allowing form, posture, and material to carry meaning rather than explicit storytelling.
Are the works part of a series?
Yes. My practice is organised into distinct but related series, including Essence of the Wild, Inspired by Birds, Horses and Riders, and Bulls and Bears. Each series explores a specific aspect of presence and form.
Editions & Authenticity
Are the sculptures unique or editioned?
Works may be unique or produced in limited editions, depending on the piece. Edition details are always clearly stated.
Are the sculptures signed and numbered?
Yes. All editioned works are signed and numbered by the artist and an authenticity certificate is provided
Will editions be repeated or extended?
No. Edition sizes are fixed and will not be extended once completed.
Display & Installation
Are the sculptures suitable for indoor or outdoor display?
Foundry bronze and Resin works can be displayed outdoors. Painted resin works are intended for indoor display unless otherwise specified.
Do sculptures require a plinth?
Some works are designed to sit directly on a surface, while others benefit from a plinth. Display guidance can be provided for each piece.
